The Construction of the Kipungani Seawall is a coastal protection project designed to shield Kipungani village in Lamu County from tidal flooding, shoreline erosion, and the long-term impacts of rising sea levels. The seawall will act as a protective barrier, preventing the destruction of homes, farmlands, and community infrastructure while improving sanitation by reducing the risks of latrine overflow during high tides.
